Miles Nadal JCC’s Queer Jewish Incubator is a new gathering space for LGBTQ+ Jewish people in the GTA to grow queer and Jewish connections while building stronger ties to the LGBTQ+ Jewish community. The incubator nurtures LGBTQ+ people as the visionaries, storytellers, guides, weavers, and disrupters currently missing – and needed – within our Toronto Jewish communal context.

Queer Jewish Incubator responds to a demonstrated need to bolster emerging LGBTQ+ Jewish leaders with the skills, community, and mentorship to advance LGBTQ+ Jewish life in Toronto. The project invests in these leaders as the visionaries, storytellers, guides, weavers, and disrupters currently needed within the Toronto Jewish communal context.

In direct response to needs Miles Nadal JCC has identified, and co-designed in consultation with LGBTQ+ GTA Jews, the Queer Jewish Incubator is a new 5-month-long leadership program for Jewish LGBTQ+ community members, empowering participants to implement a project that grows LGBTQ+ Jewish inclusion and culture in the GTA. Projects may take the shape of artistic inquiries, archival research, wellness programs, creation of new Jewish queer-centred ritual, or purpose-driven community convenings.
