1. Indigenartsy

This organization empowers Indigenous women and generates economic development through free programming and sustainable projects. Funding is provided by Ontario Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts and Heritage Canada. They are volunteer led for over 10 years and strive to protect Indigenous artists of Turtle Island.

2. Leticia Spence for Red River College Polytechn

The 2023 orange shirt for Red River College Polytechnic has been crafted by Leticia Spence, a distinguished alumna hailing from Pimicikamak Cree Nation in Treaty 1 Territory. Leticia Spence is a talented Ininew graphic designer, illustrator, and entrepreneur. These remarkable shirts are manufactured by the Indigenous streetwear label Red Rebel Armour and are available for online purchase through the campus’s store website. The proceeds from these sales will contribute to Red River College’s Mínwastánikéwin Truth and Reconciliation Award.

3. Native Arts Society

Established in 2021 by Brianna Olson Pitawanakwat and Nanook Gordon Fareal, Native Arts Society is a Indigenous and 2S owned gallery and studio space located in so-called Toronto, ON, located at 115 Church St. Grounded in values of Indigenous self-determination in the arts, the Native Arts Society is a grassroots space that supports the flourishing of art that is rarely platformed, with a focus on art created by the street community, incarcerated or recently incarcerated artists, and contemporary Inuit artists.
