Nominate a community leader for the 2016 Steinert & Ferreiro Award!

Do you know someone who has made a difference in the LGBTTIQQ2S community? Are they a leader, working to change minds and increase awareness and compassion? Do they often work quietly behind the scenes, while their efforts should be awarded and praised?

Nominate them for the 2016 Steinert & Ferreiro Award, and they could win a $10,000 cash prize to help further their endeavours, and recognize the amazing achievements they have contributed to help our community!

We haveĀ the nomination form and guidelines on our site, ready to download. All you need to do is:

  1. Fill out the nomination form, including signatures from two other nominators, and a promise from the nominee to attend the November gala in-person if they are chosen.
  2. Write a 1,000-2,000 word letter about the nominee’s achievements
  3. Obtain 3-4 supporting letters from colleagues or organizations that the nomineeĀ is associated with, outlining the hard work and dedication the nominee has provided to strengthen the LGBTTIQQ2S community.

The recipient will be announced at our November gala, where they will receive an award and cheque for $10,000.
