Workplace Giving

One of the easiest ways to make a contribution to the Community One Foundation is through your workplace giving program. These programs allow you to designate an amount to be deducted from your paycheque.

In order to stay in touch with the Foundation, it is recommended that donors provide their workplace giving program with permission to provide the Foundation with email and/or mailing information. We want to keep in touch so you know how your donation makes a difference.

The Community One Foundation temporarily operates under the original Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal of Toronto name. For 2008, donations should be made to the Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal of Toronto (or LGCA). Tax receipts will be issued under the LGCA name. The registered charitable number is 126482785RR0001.

Matching Gifts

Many businesses offer matching gift programs. It is easy to take advantage of this employee benefit that doubles the impact of your contribution. Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company provides a matching gift program.
