Ways to give

Building community is simple.

When you give to the Community One Foundation you invest in the LGBTQ community and in yourself.  Your gift, along with those of many other caring individuals, creates the resources needed for change and equality.

Every gift from $5 to $50,000, makes a huge difference to the Community One Foundation, to the projects we fund and to the thousands of people that these projects serve. 100% of our grants funding comes from people like you who care about our community and who want to make it a better place to live now and in the future.

Your gift to the Community One Foundation will strengthen the community through grant making, and skills and leadership development throughout the Greater Toronto Area including the regions of Durham, Halton, York and Peel.

Last year, the Community One Foundation received more than $160,000 in requests for funding. Unfortunately we were only able to fund half that amount leaving many important projects unfunded. By giving one gift to the Community One Foundation, you can support many organizations that are working for our equal rights and meeting the multitude of critical community needs.

The Community One Foundation temporarily operates under the original Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal of Toronto name. For 2009, donations should be made to the Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal of Toronto (or LGCA). Tax receipts will be issued under the LGCA name. The registered charitable number is 126482785RR0001.
