You can make one-time or monthly gift by cheque or credit card to the Community One Foundation the following ways:

Please print and complete our General Donation Form to include with your mail-in gift.

Matching Gifts: Many businesses offer matching gift programs. It is easy to take advantage of this employee benefit that doubles the impact of your contribution. Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company provides a matching gift program.

Donate Stock or Securities

A gift of appreciated stock can provide tax savings at the same time you make your gift to the Community One Foundation. You can avoid a capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of the gift, so many people find that they're able to make a larger gift by using appreciated securities instead of cash.

Please download our Stock & Securities Donation Form which you can submit by mail or email. Be sure to notify the Community One Foundation office before your transfer stock, so we will be able to credit you for the gift.

Gifts In Celebration or In Memorium

You can make a gift in honor of a friend, colleague or loved one to mark a special occasion. The Foundation will send a card notifying a third party of the gift. Complete the General Donation Form or call the Foundation at 416.920.5422.

The Community One Foundation temporarily operates under the original Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal of Toronto name. For 2009, donations should be made to the Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal of Toronto (or LGCA). Tax receipts will be issued under the LGCA name. The registered charitable number is 126482785RR0001.
