We held our annual Rainbow Grants ceremony at The 519 on March 12, 2016, giving out $38,000 worth of grants to 13 amazing recipients!

The $10,000 RBC Community Award went to Native Women in the Arts, for their Living Legacies – Two Spirited Stories project, which is a series of art workshops and final exhibition that centres on the stories of two-spirit communities in Toronto.

The Kyle Rae Grant recipient was the Newcomer Women’s Services of Toronto, who will use their grant to train 10 LGBTTIQQ2S newcomer youths to research global queer history, and work with ESL instructors to create curricula for new Canadians.
