2011 Fundraising Event - Wizard of Oz
On October 29th, for its 2011 fundraising event, Community One Foundation will be partnering with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for a very special, live accompaniment screening of The Wizard of Oz.
Put on your ruby slippers to experience the combined entertainment of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and this classic Judy Garland film held at Toronto's renowned Roy Thomson Hall. Community One Foundation’s Presenting Sponsor is RBC Royal Bank, Canada's largest financial institution and Corporate Partner to Community One Foundation.
Prior to the live screening of the Wizard of Oz, Community One Foundation is planning to host a VIP pre-cocktail reception to include special entertainment, volunteers in costumes, presentations, local performers and a celebration to honour the winner of the 2011 Steinert and Ferreiro award – Canada’s largest award recognizing significant contribution and/or leadership in the LGBTQ community.
At the conclusion of the VIP pre-cocktail reception, Community One Foundation’s guests will be front and centre for this once-in-a-lifetime collaboration.
Tickets for this prestigious fundraising event are being sold for $150.00 which includes the VIP pre-cocktail reception and premium seating at the Wizard of Oz screening.

Wizard of Oz show: starts at 8pm at the Roy Thomson Hall
